Jeni is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been with the Northgate team since 2013. She earned her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Parkland in 2013. Jeni has a passion for special-needs puppies, rescue, and dog behavior and training. She is also employed at the Animal Emergency Clinic in Bloomington. Jeni was born and raised in Decatur and still lives here today with her fiance, Neidra. She has two wonderful daughters, Deja and Keilei, who also love animals. They have six dogs: Smigee (Boston Terrier), Monkey (Pug), Ruby (Pug), Barkley (Bulldog), Zylee (Brussles Griffon), and Zane (French Bulldog). Jeni spends her free time with her family, watching movies, and rescuing pets. In 2012, she, and her sister, founded Hudson’s Half Way Home, a licensed rescue that specializes in rehabilitating special-needs puppies. Most of the puppies they take in have cleft palates or some other type of birth defect.
